Terms of Service

These terms apply to the apps, websites and services offered by RANA Labs (together, the "Services"). By downloading, installing or using the Services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you use a RANA Account, the RANA Account terms also apply.

1. About us and eligibility

The Services are provided by RANA Labs ([email protected]). You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for complying with the law in your country.

2. Using the Services

Some Services work per device with an app-generated user ID; keep it if you may need support. The Services need an internet connection, may change over time, and may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

3. Purchases

• In-app purchases through Google Play or the App Store are processed by that store under its terms and are tied to the device that bought them; use "Restore purchases" to get them back.
• Web purchases and credit top-ups are processed by our payment partners (such as PayPal), which may apply their own terms to the payment. Prices, refunds and cancellations follow these Terms, our Pricing and our Refund Policy. Send refund requests to [email protected].
• Prices and taxes are shown before you confirm payment and may vary by country.
• Plans bought on the web are paid once for the period shown and do not renew automatically. Subscriptions bought through an app store renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until cancelled; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in the store's settings. You keep access until the end of the paid period, and uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials, where offered, need a valid payment method and are available once under the store's or our conditions. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Credits are used only within the related service, at the rate shown before use. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Invalid or used prepaid cards are not credited.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy, and for store purchases the store's policy and mandatory consumer law. When a payment is refunded or reversed, the related access ends, and accounts involved in payment disputes may have purchases restricted.
• Processing fee: when you request a refund of a web payment, we keep a processing fee (the payment fee incurred when you paid, kept once, plus 0.5% of the transaction amount on each refund), as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You must not:

• copy, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit the Services or their data without our written permission;
• modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows;
• use automated tools to extract data from the Services;
• interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the Services;
• use the Services to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass our staff or commit payment fraud.

5. Content, information and support

• Information provided through the Services, such as forecasts, alerts, health guidance, search results and translations, is for reference only, may contain errors and is not professional advice. Official warnings come from the competent authorities; do not rely on the Services as the only basis for safety-critical decisions.
• Site labels such as "Official site" are reference information based on data checked when an update is released. Domains and page content can change afterwards, so a label does not guarantee that a site is always accurate or safe. Check carefully before trusting, signing in to or paying on a site; RANA Labs is not responsible for losses arising from relying solely on such a label.
• Notifications may be delayed or not arrive depending on your network, device and settings.
• Only access, download or use content you have the right to use, and follow the terms of the websites and services you visit. Third-party content and extensions are subject to their own terms.
• When you receive support, you decide what is done on your devices; back up important data first. Support calls are recorded, as announced at the start of each call, and call time is counted until the call ends. Some calls may be answered first by an AI assistant; you may ask to be connected with a support specialist at any time.

6. Your content and feedback

Content you send us stays yours. You allow us to use it to provide and improve the Services. Feedback and ideas may be used without payment or credit.

7. Intellectual property

The software, names, logos, designs and content of the Services belong to RANA Labs or its licensors; do not use them without permission. Third-party data belongs to its providers under their licences, as credited in each service, and naming a source does not mean it endorses the Services.

8. External links

The Services may link to external websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or policies.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, RANA Labs and its partners are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of, or inability to use, the Services. To the extent permitted by law, you will compensate RANA Labs for claims and reasonable costs caused by your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for accounts or devices that break these terms or show signs of fraud or abuse, and these restrictions may remain in place. If you think this was a mistake, contact us with your user ID.

11. Changes and general terms

We may change, add or remove features and services, and update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and we announce significant changes in advance. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rules where you live; disputes are first resolved in good faith. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. They are published in several languages; if they differ, the English version applies.
